Volunteer Positions
ASQ Kitchener Section is run completely by volunteer members like you. Volunteering is an excellent way to network with others in the industry and gain valuable experience. As a member of the Section Executive Committee (SEC), you earn recertification points.
All positions run for one year.
In the term for all positions will be aligned with the calendar year. In a 6-month appointment aligns the end of the previous terms with the start of the terms. Some appointments will be filled by the incoming person for the role and some will be filled by the outgoing person for the role, depending on availability and interest.

- Arrangement - has been combined with Program Chair
- Auditing - conducts annual audit of Section accounting
- Certification - arranges local sittings of ASQ exams
- Education - arranges courses for ASQ section members
- Internet Liaison - maintains ASQ Kitchener website and is liaison with ASQ HQ
- Membership - monitors membership and encourages new people to join
- Nominating Chair - seeks members for section leadership roles
- Program Chair - arranges for speakers for monthly section meetings
- Recertification - inspects and verifies recertification packages from members
